Homeshake, aka Mac DeMarco associate Peter Sagar, has announced a summer tour in support of new album Helium. Dates kick off August 7 in El Paso, and they'll stay in Texas for shows in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and Dallas. Homeshake will also play Denver, Salt Lake City, Boise, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The whole tour is with KeithCharles and dates are here.


Italian instrumental prog/soundtrack icons Goblin — whose current lineup includes Massimo Morante, Maurizio Guarini, Fabio Pignatelli, and Agostino Marangolo (all of whom played on Suspiria) — released new album Fearless (37513 Zombie Ave) late last year and they'll tour this fall but so far just NYC and L.A. dates have been announced.


Dave Alvin of The Blasters, X and more is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his 1994 album King of California on tour this summer. “King of California is when I decided ‘this is when I let the song tell me what it sounds like,” says Alvin. “Ever since then, that’s been my rule. It sounds ridiculous, but it was something I had to learn.” Dates kick off June 11 in Los  Angeles and includes stops in San Diego, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philly, NYC (City Winery on  July 21), Seattle, Portland and more.


While hardcore legends 7Seconds sadly broke up last year, frontman Kevin Seconds has remained active as a solo artist and he's now gearing up to tour the East Coast this July. The tour is called "I've Come For AVAIL," because Kevin is literally using the trip as an opportunity to see AVAIL in Richmond. Two birds, amirite? The tour will be opened by NJ's Sammy Kay and hits Asbury Park Brewery on 7/17, Brooklyn Bazaar on 7/19, and more. All dates and tickets here.


Japanese math/post rockers toe are coming to the US for two exclusive shows: one at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge on 8/28 and one at LA's Masonic Lodge at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on 8/30. Those are the only gigs they're doing here so don't miss the chance if you can help it. Tickets here.


New Zealand's Miss June make catchy, punky alternative rock, as heard on their recently-released two-song single "Best Girl" / "Twitch" (which gets a physical release on June 10 via Frenchkiss). They're playing the UK soon and then coming to the US this month for five shows: three in NYC and two in LA. The NYC shows include Elsewhere Zone One on 6/17 opening for Epitaph signees THICK, a free Berlin show on 6/18, and Union Pool on 6/20 opening for Frenchkiss labelmates TWEN. The LA shows are a Punky Reggae party at La Cita on 6/21 and a School Night party on 6/24 at The Avalon.


It's been four years since their debut album but Ireland group Girl Band are back with their second album in September and they'll tour in October.


Seattle trio Dude York will release new album Falling in July and they'll be on tour with Bleached later this year.


Austin crossover thrashers Iron Age are coming to NYC for the first time in nine years, and after selling out their first show, they added a second.


Spastic metal/punk collective The Armed just signed to Sargent House, released a new single/video, and announced a tour.


Heart Bones (Har Mar Superstar & Sabrina Ellis) and Good Fuck (Tim Kinsella & Jenny Pulse) are hitting the road together this summer.
