HOW DID THIS GET MADE?

Paul Scheer, Jason Mantzoukas and June Diane Raphael’s popular bad movie podcast How Did This Get Made? has live dates coming up in a few cities, including Chicago this weekend for the Onion Comedy Fest,  two shows at NYC’s Brooklyn Academy of Music on July 18, and Denver in August. Tickets for the BAM shows go on sale June 5 for BAM members and June 6 to the general public. All HDTGM dates are here, and Paul and Jason will be in NYC before that for the UCB’s Del Close Marathon.

THE PRESETS / BLOOD RED SHOES

Australian dance duo The Presets released their fourth album, HI VIZ, today and you can listen to that here. They’ll also be on a North American tour this fall with Blood Red Shoes and dates wrap up in NYC at Brooklyn Steel on October 9. All dates and tickets, head here.

NEKO CASE

Neko Case’s new album, Hell-On, is out today (stream it below) and she’s on tour now, playing a release show at Berkeley, CA’s Greek Theatre tonight, and she’ll be in NYC in September with Thao. She’s also got dates with Ray LaMontagne and Destroyer (solo) — check out Neko’s whole itinerary.

LILY ALLEN

With her new album, No Shame, out next week, Lily Allen has just announced an extensive North American tour that brings her back to NYC at Terminal 5.

PAUPIERE

Montreal synthpop trio Paupière — aka We Are Wolves drummer Pierre-Luc Bégin, visual artist Julia Daigle, and actor and composer Éliane Préfontaine — release their debut album, À Jamais Privé de Réponses (“Never Private Answers”) on September 7. They’ve got tour dates this summer, though, including a stop in NYC on June 19 at Pianos. All dates are listed here. and check out their new video, “Rex,” below:
