ZETA

Venezuelan experimental post-hardcore outfit Zeta have been prepping their new album Magia Infinita, and they’ll also be touring North America through the fall. The band will be stopping at Brooklyn’s Goldsounds on 9/14, along with other shows in Philly, Baltimore, Boston, Richmond, Milwaukee, and more. All dates here.

AGNES OBEL

Danish songwriter Agnes Obel (who you may know from Netflix’s Dark soundtrack, among other things) will be hitting the road this month, starting with a few Canadian shows, and later coming stateside for dates in NYC (Warsaw on 9/15), Detroit, Los Angeles, Seattle, and more. JOEY PURP

Chicago rapper Joey Purp has a few upcoming shows in support of his upcoming record QUARTHERTHING, including two September shows in Philly and Chicago, before stopping at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on 10/10 with support from frequent collaborator Kami. View all dates here.

SNOW PATROL

Snow Patrol released their seventh album Wildness earlier this year, and they’re currently on tour opening for Ed Sheeran. Right before the two shows at NJ’s MetLife Stadium, Snow Patrol have a much more intimate show without Ed Sheeran: an acoustic performance/signing at Rough Trade NYC on 9/20. All dates here.

FYA FEST 2019

The lineup has been revealed for Tampa’s sixth annual hardcore festival FYA Fest, which goes down January 5 & 6. It includes Terror, Backtrack, Year of the Knife, Incendiary, Bitter End, Death Threat, King Nine, Luxe, Morning Again, and more. Full lineup here.

PILL & ELEANOR FRIEDBERGER

Brooklyn’s post-punk/no wave devotees Pill will be back with a new album in October, and they’ll be on tour with Eleanor Friedberger (who released Rebound in May) starting September 13 in Washington, DC and wrapping up at Detroit’s El Club on October 6. All dates are here.

CRACK THE SKY

American prog rock vets Crack the Sky recently released a new album, Living in Reverse, not to mention a new retrospective, Crackology. They’re celebrating with a three-show stand at Annapolis, MD’s Rams Head on Stage from November 2-4.

TRICKY & CHELSEA WOLFE OPENING FOR A PERFECT CIRCLE

Trip hop vet Tricky is opening A Perfect Circle’s North American dates, and metallic singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe is opening in Europe/UK. More info here.
