The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

KACEY MUSGRAVES

After announcing her tour earlier this week, Kacey already expanded it, adding a second show at NYC’s Beacon Theatre with Natalie Prass. Updated info and all dates here.

BLOOD ORANGE

Dev Hynes will release his new Blood Orange album, Negro Swan, next month via Domino and he’s set to do his most extensive touring since his days as Lightspeed Champion. Dates include this weekend’s Pitchfork Festival, a NYC show at Central Park SummerStage, Las Vegas’ LIfe is Beautiful fest, Austin CIty Limits Festival, Iceland Airwaves, and more.

WAND

L.A. band Wand, who released the expansive Perfume EP earlier this spring, were in NYC just a few weeks ago, where they put on great shows at Elsewhere and Union Pool’s free Summer Thunder series. Their West Coast tour kicks off July 31 in San Francisco, heads north into Canada and then wraps up with an appearance at Pickathon. They’ll also play Desert Daze 2018 in October and have UK/EU dates after that. All dates are here.

JOHN CARPENTER

Master of horror and sci-fi (and killer synth theme music), John Carpenter continues to tour, playing his famous scores to Halloween, Christine, Assault on Precinct 13 and more. Following a tour of Europe and the UK, he’ll play a Halloween show at Los Angeles’ Palladium. All dates and ticket links are here. Speaking of Halloween, John is returning to the Halloween film franchise, working on the soundtrack and serving as executive producer on the new film, which sees Jamie Lee Curtis’ return as well. (It’ll be his first since Halloween III: Season of the Witch.) David Gordon Green (George Washington, Pineapple Express) directs and co-wrote the screenplay with frequent collaborator Danny McBride. SHOW ME THE BODY

Punk-rap group Show Me The Body have good recordings, but their wild live show is really the best way to experience them so it’s good news that they’ve got more shows coming up. Having recently wrapped up a run with Code Orange, they’re set to play Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on 8/3 with TrippJones, Dreamcrusher, and Dogbreath; Queens’ Fool’s Gold Day Off on 8/11, NJ’s Mad Liberation Festival on 8/17-19, Philly’s Made In America on 9/1-2, and more.

THE SHACKS / DJANGO DJANGO

Winsome NYC pop duo The Shacks, whose charming debut LP came out earlier this year, have added more dates to their late summer tour, including shows in Milwaukee, Denver, and Ann Arbor, MI. Things kick off August 3 at Jersey City’s WFMU Monty Hall and also include some shows with Cults. They’ll also open on Django Django’s fall North American tour. Head to The Shacks’ website for all dates and tickets.

JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD

Nashville’s JEFF The Brotherhood made their forthcoming album as a four-piece and are exploring new sonic territory far outside the riffy party jams they’re known for. They’ll also be on tour this fall.

GRAPETOOTH

Grapetooth is the duo of Twin Peaks co-frontman Clay Frankel and musician/producer Chris Bailoni (aka Home-Sick), and they just signed to Polyvinyl, who will release their debut album this fall. They also have two shows coming up: a hometown show at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall this Saturday (7/21) and a Brooklyn show at Baby’s All Right on September 28. Listen to their two singles:
