LIL PUMP / LIL SKIES

Lil Pump may not be speaking at Harvard’s graduation, but he is touring with fellow “Lil” rapper Lil Skies. The tour includes a show at NYC’s Terminal 5 on May 10, as well as stops in Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Detroit, Philly, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and more.

MGMT

MGMT, who released the very good Little Dark Age last year, have announced a tour surrounding their three shows at NYC’s soon-to-reopen Webster Hall and their two Just Like Heaven sets. They’re also playing Oakland, Houston, Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, New Haven, and more. All dates and tickets here.

CARDI B

2019 is shaping up to already be another big year for Cardi B, who’s been releasing some new music, made history at the Grammys, and has plans to play some big festivals like Rolling Loud, Bonnaroo, and Primavera Sound. She has now added some non-festival dates too, all of which are listed here.

WU-TANG CLAN – 36 CHAMBERS 25TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

Wu-Tang keep adding more shows to their 36 Chambers 25th anniversary tour (which already hit NYC twice). There’s now also another hometown-area stop in Atlantic City on 6/15, as well as stops in Connecticut, Boston, Nashville, Raleigh, Seattle, and more. All dates here.

ROLLING BLACKOUTS COASTAL FEVER

Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever, who released last year’s great Hope Downs, are coming back to North America this summer for festival like Boston Calling, Governors Ball and Bonnaroo, and they’ve just announced a tour with some headline shows mixed in, including Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and more. THE DRUMS

The Drums will release new album Brutalism in April and have just announced West Coast dates for their upcoming tour. Those dates start in July in San Francisco and include stops in L.A., San Diego, Vegas, Albuquerque, Denver, Portland, Vancouver, and Seattle. Their spring tour hits Chicago, NYC, Philly, Atlanta, Nashville, Florida, Texas and more. All dates are here.

DOG EAT DOG

NJ punk/rap vets Dog Eat Dog haven’t released a new album in a while, but they put out an EP in 2017 and they’ve been staying active on the road. They play a home state show on April 5 at Debonair Music Hall, where they’ll be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the All Boro Kings album. They have some other dates too.

SKELETONWITCH / SOFT KILL / WIEGEDOOD / PORTRAYAL OF GUILT

Skeletonwitch are hitting the road with Soft Kill and Wiegedood (mem Oathbreaker), which is a killer triple bill, and there’s also a run with additional support from Portrayal of Guilt, which is a killer quadruple bill. That four-band lineup already sold out one night at Saint Vitus (5/3), and now a second Vitus show (5/4) has been added for the following night. Updated dates here.

TAKING BACK SUNDAY

Taking Back Sunday have announced the second North American leg of their 20th anniversary tour, which will see them performing their first three albums in full. It now includes two big NYC shows at Terminal 5 and much more.

BIG THIEF

Big Thief signed to 4AD for their just-announced new album U.F.O.F., and they’ve also got an extensive tour lined up to support it.

HEART’S ANN & NANCY WILSON (ADDED TO “LOVE ROCKS NYC” LINEUP)

Heart will be on tour this year with Sheryl Crow, Joan Jett, Brandi Carlile and more, but before that Ann & Nancy Wilson will perform as part of the upcoming “Love Rocks NYC” benefit at Beacon Theatre on 3/7, that also features Sheryl Crow, plus Robert Plant and more.

JANET JACKSON LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY

Like Celine Dion, Barry Manilow, Bobbie Gentry, Elvis and many others before her, Janet Jackson will be parking herself in Las Vegas for a residency. The shows happen at the Park Theater at Park MGM resort in May, July and August. Tickets go on sale March 2 at 10 AM PST with presales starting February 27 at 10 AM PST. THE MINUS 5

The Minus 5, the group featuring Scott McCaughey (Young Fresh Fellows, REM), Peter Buck (REM) and other friends, are playing Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, MA in June and have lined up a tour leading to it, promising “Songs new and old! Performed by people! Live!” The tour starts June 15 in Portland and includes St. Paul, Milwaukee, Madison, DC, Philly, Jersey City (White Eagle Hall on 6/27) and then Solid Sound. They’ll also play Seattle’s Tractor Tavern on 7/27. All dates are here.

PELICAN / CLOAKROOM / PLANNING FOR BURIAL

Instru-metal greats Pelican announced their first release in six years and a tour with Cloakroom. There’s also additional support varying by date from Planning for Burial (including NYC), Young Widows, and Greet Death.

NILE / TERRORIZER

Death metal vets Nile and grindcore vets Terrorizer are hitting the road together this fall for “A Vile Caustic Attack Tour.” Dates and more info here.
