The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

MR. EAZI opening for J BALVIN

Dancehall star J Balvin has added openers to his upcoming arena tour, Nigerian pop singer Mr. Eazi and Haitian DJ Michael Brun. Mr. Eazi is already a star in West Africa, and he’s starting to catch on in the U.S. too. He caught the attention of both Travis Scott and Diplo (who ended up signing him to Mad Decent). It’s pretty clear that Mr. Eazi’s appeal is universal. Check out his recent single “Property” below. All dates (including Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on 10/20) here.

EYEHATEGOD/THE OBSESSED NYC openers: TOMBS, UNEARTHLY TRANCE, SANHEDRIN

The amazing metal double bill of Eyehategod and The Obsessed lands in NYC on 9/14 at Brooklyn Bazaar and killer local openers have been announced: Tombs, Unearthly Trance, and Sanhedrin. Tombs also have a few other dates. Today, our metal sister site ran a 25th anniversary feature on Eyehategod’s Take As Needed For Pain.

MATT EMBREE (RX BANDITS, THE SOUND OF ANIMALS FIGHTING)

Matt Embree of RX Bandits and The Sound of Animals Fighting is going on a solo acoustic tour, which begins in Philly on 10/4 with Cayetana singer Augusta Koch, and then hits NYC’s Mercury Lounge on 10/6, followed by stops in Boston, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco. All dates and tickets here.

TAKING BACK SUNDAY

Taking Back Sunday continue to gradually add shows. They were added to Riot Fest along with Weezer and Run the Jewels (in place of blink-182), they announced their annual NJ holiday shows (single-day tickets on sale now), and they’re playing their classic Tell All Your Friends in full at Australia’s UNIFY Gathering. Also, John Nolan is going on a solo tour.

HOT SNAKES DROP OFF BELL HOUSE SHOW WITH GOTOBEDS AND SAVAK (NOW FREE & WITH BODEGA)
Hot Snakes had to sadly drop off of The Bell House’s 10th anniversary show on Saturday (9/8). SAVAK and The Gotobeds are still playing and they’ve added Bodega to the bill and…it’s now FREE.

CHER

With her album of ABBA covers due out at the end of the month, Cher has just announced a world tour titled, appropriately, “Here We Go Again,” which so far has her out from January through May.

CHILDISH GAMBINO

Childish Gambino began his tour in Atlanta last night (9/6), and he said on stage that it would be his final tour, so if you’re on the fence about seeing him, you might wanna pull the trigger. The tour hits NYC’s Madison Square Garden on 9/14 & 9/15 with Rae Sremmurd. Gambino also performs at Rihanna’s Diamond Ball in NYC the day before that.

TRÄD, GRÄS OCH STENAR / ENDLESS BOOGIE

Swedish prog icons Träd, Gräs Och Stenar, who now count Dungen’s Reine Fiske as a member, released a new album last year and will be touring with Brooklyn psych-kraut heads Endless Boogie starting later this month.
