DANITY KANE

Danity Kane are back in action with the lineup of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex, and they’ve now shared the new single “NEON LIGHTS,” which injects their usual R&B with a little modern EDM. They’re also touring with Aubrey and Shannon’s Dumblonde project, including a NYC show on Thursday (6/27) at Irving Plaza. All dates here.

NADA SURF

Nada Surf are recording an episode of Full Disclosure with Roben Farzad on November 10 at The National in Richmond, VA, where they’ll be interviewed by Farzad and perform a full set. Tickets go on sale Friday (6/28) at noon. It’s their only upcoming US show, but they also have dates in Spain. All dates are here.

FLORIST

Florist are releasing a new album, Emily Alone, due out July 26 via Double Double Whammy. They embark on a US tour the same day, starting in Los Angeles and stopping in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Brooklyn (August 3 at Baby’s All Right), Cambridge, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC and more before wrapping up in Atlanta on August 19. THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS AND LADY LAMB

The New Pornographers are due for a new album — Whiteout Conditions was two years ago — and while there’s been no word on that front, the wheels are turning as they’ve just announced a fall North American tour with Lady Lamb

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS with SINGLE MOTHERS & SLINGSHOT DAKOTA

Minneapolis punks Off With Their Heads will support their upcoming album Be Good (due in August via Epitaph) with two tours: a summer run with Single Mothers and a fall run with Slingshot Dakota.

GWAR / SACRED REICH / TOXIC HOLOCAUST

GWAR announced the “Use Your Collusion” tour for this fall with killer support from back-in-action thrash vets Sacred Reich (who are prepping their first album in 20+ years) and Toxic Holocaust.

MIKE ADAMS AT HIS HONEST WEIGHT

Power poppers Mike Adams at His Honest Weight just released new album There is No Feeling Better which you can stream below. Mike will be on the road this summer, including shows in Indianapolis, Cleveland, Philly, Brooklyn (9/21 @ Alphaville), Boston, DC, Pittsburgh, Columbus and more.

CROSS RECORD

Emily Cross will release her new Cross Record album on August 2 via Ba Da Bing and head out on tour in September, with dates starting 9/4 in Marfa, TX and wrapping up 9/29 in Atlanta, hitting Phoenix, L.A., San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, Brooklyn (9/24 @ Trans-Pecos), and more on the way.

HATCHIE

Having just played SummerStage at Central Park opening for Japanese Breakfast last night, Hatchie added a headlining NYC show to her late summer/early fall tour.

KNOCKED LOOSE / ROTTING OUT / CANDY / SEEYOUSPACECOWBOY

Metallic hardcore unit Knocked Loose are supporting their upcoming album A Different Shade Of Blue on a headlining tour with a stacked lineup of support bands.

BLANCK MASS

Fuck Buttons’ Benjamin John Power will release his new Blanck Mass album, Violence Mild, on August 16 and will be on tour this fall with Helm, including stops in Boston, Brooklyn, Philly, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Seattle, Portland, Oakland and Los Angeles.

SHONEN KNIFE

Japanese cult punks Shonen Knife’s 19th album Sweet Candy Power came out earlier this month, and they’ll return to North America for a summer/fall tour.

BRITTANY HOWARD (of ALABAMA SHAKES)

Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard is embarking on a solo career, and has now announced her debut solo album and a tour.
