NATHANIEL RATELIFF & THE NIGHT SWEATS

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are on tour now, with shows this month in Philly (with Robert Plant), Louisville, Farm Aid, and more. They’ve just added a new NYC-area show, playing Port Chester’s The Capitol Theatre on October 12. They’ll also play holiday shows in Denver with Mavis Staples. All dates are here.

EX HEX (DOUBLE PARKED FEST & OTHER DATES)

Ex Hex are headlining Jersey City’s free Double Parked street festival on October 12. It takes place on Newark Ave between Barron and Jersey and the fun starts at noon. Ice Balloons, Crazy & the Brains, Barrie, Baby Shakes and more are also on the bill — head here for more info. Before that, Ex Hex have West Coast dates this month, inclding Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland, and San Jose. They’ll also play Columbia, SC’s Jam Room Music Fest in October and a holiday show at Baltimore’s Ottobar in December. All Ex Hex dates are here.

SINKANE

Sinkane will release a new EP, titled Getting Weird (Alive at Spacebomb Studios) on October 23 via Spacebomb. You can listen to “Ya Sudan” (which was originally on this year’s Dépaysé) below. Sinkane also launches an extensive fall tour tonight in Richmond, that will also hit Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, Berkeley, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Iowa City, Pittsburgh, and more before heading to Europe. BOB MOULD

Bob Mould just began his solo electric tour, which hits Chicago for Riot Fest this weekend (his band will be with him for that one), and then such cities as Nashville, Atlanta, Carrboro, Richmond, DC, and more.

CLIPPING

Avant-rap trio clipping. will be touring just ahead of the release of their new album There Existed an Addiction to Blood (due 10/18 via Sub Pop), hitting Brooklyn, DC, Toronto, Oakland and Los Angeles.

JACQUES GREENE

Dance music artist Jacques Greene will release new album Dawn Chorus on October 18 via LuckyMe. The record features appearances/production from Julianna Barwick, Joel Ford, Clams Casino, Cadence Weapon, Hannibal composer Brian Reitzell, cellist Oliver Coates, Ebhoni, Rochelle Jordan and more. He’s also got live shows this fall including a few North American dates: Brooklyn (National Sawdust on 10/23), Los Angeles (The Echo on 10/25), and Montreal (Ausgang on 10/26). BLIMES & GAB – “FEELIN IT”

San Francisco/Seattle hip hop duo Blimes & Gab (aka Blimes and Gifted Gab, fka B.A.G.) went viral with last year’s “Come Correct,” and now they’re back with another fun jam, “Feelin It.” They also announced a tour, including LA’s Uncool Festival at the Palladium on 10/25, Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on 11/8, and more. that dog. will soon be back with OLD LP, their first album in 22 years, and will play NYC and L.A. shows in celebration.
