OH LAND / ARTHUR MOON

Copenhagen artist Oh Land just released her new Doveman-produced, album Family Tree (stream it below) and she’s just announced a North American tour. That kicks off September 23 in Toronto, then hits Brooklyn (9/24 @ The Bell House), Philly, DC, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. ABYSSAL / TCHORNOBOG

UK dark ambient death metal band Abyssal release their highly anticipated fourth album on June 21, via Profound Lore (their 2015 album Antikatastaseis was one of the best death metal releases of that year, and their 2018 split with Carcinoma was not so shabby either). A new track dropped today, and maybe they’ll preview some more new ones at the four U.S. shows they’re playing this week including Maryland Deathfest and the previously-mentioned MDF-presented show at Brooklyn Bazaar with French black metallers Merrimack, Deletere, and the great Tchornobog (who is their tourmate for their 3 non-MDF shows). MARIKA HACKMAN

UK artist Marika Hackman will release Any Human Friend, her third album (and second for Sub Pop), in August and will be on tour in the fall.

CHERRY GLAZERR

Cherry Glazerr continue to be on tour supporting this year’s Stuffed & Ready, and this weekend play Santa Fe’s Oasis Festival. They’ve got dates throughout the summer, including stops in Vegas, L.A., Indianapolis, Asheville, Nashville, and festival stops at Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and ACL. They’ll also open for Café Tacvba at Hollywood Bowl in September. All dates are here and check out the new Reggie Watts remix of “Daddi.”

JEREMY DUTCHER

The utterly unique Jeremy Dutcher, whose album Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa won the 2018 Polaris Music Prize, will be on tour this summer and while most dates are in his native Canada, he is dipping below the border for a few West Coast shows, including San Francisco on June 29 and Los Angeles on July 6. He’ll also be on an orchestral Canadian tour this fall. All dates are here and watch his NPR Tiny Desk concert below:

GIRL FRIDAY (ON TOUR w/ THE BETHS)

L.A. band Girl Friday, who will release their first record for Hardly Art in June, will be on tour with New Zealand’s The Beths this summer.

DENZEL CURRY 

Denzel just announced his new album his new album ZUU will be out next week, and he’s on tour now, hitting Boston Calling this weekend, Governors Ball next weekend, and then ForecastleOutside LandsOsheagaLollapaloozaACL Fest and more. He’s also opening for Billie Eilish (including two NYC dates, one at Radio City), and more.

LADY GAGA

Lady Gaga is camped out in Vegas for the foreseeable future with her Park MGM residency, but she will be playing the historic Apollo Theatre in NYC in June…which is invite only (but if you’re a SiriusXM subscriber you have a chance at winning them).
