The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

REMO DRIVE / FIELD MEDIC / PRINCE DADDY & THE HYENA

Minnesota emo/pop punk band Remo Drive signed to Epitaph and released the Pop Music EP on the label earlier this year, and now they’ve announced their first-ever US headlining tour. Support on all dates comes from Run For Cover-signed bedroom-folk artist Field Medic, and there’s also a run with indie rockers Prince Daddy & the Hyena that hits Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on 9/13. Some other dates are opened by Beach Bunny. All dates and tickets HERE.

PETAL

Before beginning her tour with Camp Cope, Petal frontman Kiley Lotz will be at NYC’s Strand Rare Books Room on June 13 to be interviewed about her upcoming album Magic Gone by actor Daniel K. Isaac of Showtime’s ‘Billions,’ and she’ll perform songs from the album. Details and tickets here. All dates here.

STARS

Canadian indie vets Stars have been releasing singles this year and are on tour as well, including dates this month with Shamir. They’ve just announced late fall North American dates, which include a big show at NYC’s Brooklyn Steel.

ROLLING BLACKOUTS COASTAL FEVEFR

Australian band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever (or Rolling Blackouts C.F. if you’re lazy like we sometimes are), release their new album next week on Sub Pop, and it’s steeped in the Australian/NZ indie rock traditions of The Clean, The Go-Betweens, etc. You may have seen them this past spring and they’ll be back in North America this fall.

MANY ROOMS / ANGELO DE AUGUSTINE

Bare-bones singer/songwriter Many Rooms (aka Brianna Hunt) released her solid debut album There Is A Presence Here earlier this year, and having just wrapped up a tour with Shortly, she has now announced a co-headlining tour with the Asthmatic Kitty-signed Angelo De Augustine, whose intimate sound should pair well with Many Rooms. All dates (including Brooklyn’s Union Pool on 8/9) here.

BEN HOWARD / WYE OAK

Popular indie-folk singer Ben Howard is touring behind his recently-released Noonday Dream, and the great Wye Oak — who have an excellent new album out — are opening his fall North American dates including Red Rocks, NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom, and more. They have many other shows before that. All dates and tickets here.

FRANK TURNER

Frank Turner has an insanely busy tour schedule, and it just got even busier, including the addition of three intimate solo shows in NYC.

HOT SNAKES

Having just played two NYC shows, the back-in-action Hot Snakes added more dates (including NYC with SAVAK and The Gotobeds) in support of this year’s comeback album Jericho Sirens.

THE BUTTERTONES

Surf noir band The Buttertones just released a moody, atmospheric new album and will be touring this fall.

JUNIORE

If you like your surf noire en français, Parisian band Juniore — who should appeal to La Femme fans — are getting their debut LP reissued by Burger Records and they’re playing shows this month (NYC on 6/13).

DAWES

In addition to going on a country cruise with Jason Isbell, Emmylou Harris, and others, and opening on tour for Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Dawes have announced headlining dates.
