COLD CAVE

2019 will mark the 10th anniversary of Cold Cave’s debut LP Love Comes Close, and the band will celebrate the milestone with two special performances at LA’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery on 2/14 and 2/15, where they’ll perform the album in its entirety. Before these shows, the band will be touring across Europe in November. View all upcoming dates here

YELLE

French pop artist Yelle previously announced she’ll be touring North America in the fall, and she’s just added a fourth NYC show: Baby’s All Right on 11/9, with further dates expected to be announced soon.

EXEK

Australian band EXEK, who released terrifically dark Ahead of Two Thoughts earlier this year, will be touring the US following their appearance at Memphis’ Gonerfest. This includes two NYC shows: first at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on 10/10 with Richard Papiercuts and Orion, and then at Ceremony224 on 10/12 with Oakland, CA’s Marbled Eye and Brooklyn’s Lake Ruth. The band will also be stopping in Detroit, Cleveland, San Francisco, and other cities, before finishing their tour with a Halloween show in LA with Thee Oh Sees. All upcoming dates here. They’ve also got a new EP, A Casual Assembly, and you can check out a track from that here:

COVEN

Occult rock legends Coven have added more reunion shows, and they’re finally set to come to the Northeast (including NYC and Philly).

HIJINX FEST

HiJinx Fest goes down in Philly at the Pennsylvania Convention Center the weekend before New Year’s (Friday, Dec 28 and Saturday, Dec 29). The mostly-EDM lineup is headlined by Bassnectar on night one and ODESZA on night two, and it also features RL Grime, Big Gigantic, GRiZ, Illenium, cool rappers like Denzel Curry and Flatbush Zombies, and more. Full lineup and tickets here.

OUTER HEAVEN / FULL OF HELL (and more)

Philly death metal band Outer Heaven are releasing their debut album Realms of Eternal Decay on October 5 via Relapse, and touring with Full of Hell including stops in Philly, Montclair, DC, and more. Before that, they play day two of Brooklyn’s three-day Metal Punk Death Fest III with MassGrave, Come To Grief, Saccage, Mutilation Rites, and more. Full of Hell also open Pig Destroyer’s NYC show. All dates here. Check out Outer Heaven’s new song/video:

CHRIS GETHARD

Chris Gethard may have lost a TV show but he’s gained a new book…that’s also about trying and failing. He’ll be promoting that book, titled Lose Well, with tour dates this fall.

AXIS: SOVA

Brett Sova is back with the third Axis: Sova album, Shampoo You, which is out via Ty Segall’s Drag City imprint, God? on November 16. You can check out first single “Dodger” below.
