SIDNEY GISH

Having wrapped up a tour with Vundabar earlier this year, Boston songwriter Sidney Gish will be embarking on her own US headlining tour in July and August. New dates include Philly, Cleveland, Chicago, LA, Austin, Washington D.C., Minneapolis, and many others, before ending with three NYC-area shows: first at NJ’s Asbury Park Brewery on 8/18, followed by two shows at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on August 19 and 20. Tickets for the US shows go on sale Friday (5/3). Before touring the US, Sidney will also be playing Boston Calling later this month, before heading to Europe for a run of dates in June. BRIGID MAE POWER

Irish folk singer Brigid Mae Power toured a bunch last year behind her great 2018 LP The Two Worlds, and she’ll continue to play shows behind the album in 2019. Brigid recently announced an NYC stop at Joe’s Pub on 6/9 (with Matt Kivel), which follows her appearance at California’s Huichica Festival on 6/7. These are her only US shows at the moment, and she wraps up a European tour with a hometown show in Galway, Ireland later this month. All dates here.

DEBAUCH-A-RENO FEST

Slovenly Recordings and We’re Loud Fest have revealed details of their fourth-annual Debauch-a-Reno Fest, which as the title suggests, goes down on in Reno, NV on July 4 at Sands Regency Hotel and Casino. This year’s headliners are veteran punks The Dickies and Ramones-y punk staples The Spits, and the fest also includes Surfbort, Tommy and the Commies, The Chats, Eddie and the Subtitles, The Control Freaks, and lots more. ERYKAH BADU

Erykah Badu has some upcoming dates, including her almost-sold-out big Barclays Center show with H.E.R., a DJ set at Analog BKNY later that same night, Smokin’ Grooves Fest, and more.

QUICKSAND

Reunited post-hardcore greats Quicksand are playing a few shows this year, including a recently-added intimate NJ show right after the Atlantic City edition of Warped Tour.

HOT WATER MUSIC

Hot Water Music have expanded their 25th anniversary tour, which now includes a small Brooklyn show at Saint Vitus and more.

TROPICAL FUCK STORM

Tropical Fuck Storm released a Missy Elliott cover and announced a new North American tour today.

THE DARLING FIRE

The Darling Fire, the new band led by former The Rocking Horse Winner singer/Dashboard Confessional collaborator Jolie Lindholm, have a few upcoming dates behind their debut LP, out in June.

JOSH BERWANGER (THE ANNIVERSARY)

The Anniversary’s Josh Berwanger will be touring this summer, ahead of releasing a new solo LP Watching A Garden Die next month.

FUJIYA & MIYAGI

Fujiya & Miyagi will head to the US for several July dates behind the upcoming Flashback, including stops in Brooklyn, Boston, and Philly.
