WIKI

Last year, Wiki released his great second LP OOFIE, and he’s now announced a US tour behind the album, which starts next month and runs through mid-March. He’ll be stopping in Boston, Philly, Chicago, LA, Hartford, Seattle, and San Francisco, before playing dates Australia, Europe and the UK, with more shows TBA. Coinciding with the announcement, Wiki also dropped his new video for OOFIE standout “The Routine,” whose throwback aesthetic is similar to other videos he’s released for the album. MIDGE URE

Former Ultravox frontman Midge Ure has announced his “Songs, Questions and Answers Tour,” which, as it sounds, consists of Midge playing acoustic versions of his classic songs in intimate settings, followed by an audience Q&A session (he might even take requests, too). The tour kicks off tonight in Oakland, before other dates in Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Portland, Boston, Washington D.C., Denver, and lots more. He’s got three NYC-area shows on this tour, including a two-night run at NYC’s Iridium on 2/6 and 2/7, along with Long Island’s My Fathers Place on 2/8. You can head here for all dates.

TODD RUNDGREN

Last year, Todd Rundgren embarked on his “The Individualist, A True Star” tour, which was centered around his new autobiography, and had Todd performing two nights in each city. He’s expanded the tour into 2020 with new shows happening in San Francisco, NYC, Philly, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Northfield, Silver Spring, and Atlanta. The new NYC dates happen across three nights at Gramercy Theatre on 5/21-5/23, and tickets for the whole tour go on sale Friday (1/17) at 10 AM local time. Find all dates here.

A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS

NYC noise rockers A Place To Bury Strangers have several upcoming shows throughout the first half of the year, which includes a newly-added date at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on March 13 (w/ Public Practice, and Life) as part of the 2020 New Colossus Festival, with tickets to that show going on sale Friday (1/17). Before then, they’ve got a brief tour in Florida, with shows in West Palm Beach, Miami, Jacksonville, and St. Petersburg, along with an appearance at Austin’s insanely-stacked Oblivion Access in May. PAISLEY FIELDS

NYC country project Paisley Fields, fronted by songwriter James Wilson, recently signed to Don Giovanni for their next album, and they’ve got a US tour which kicks off at Milwaukee’s Cactus Club tonight (1/15), before other shows in Brooklyn (Young Ethels⁠ on 1/23 as part of the Queer Country Writer’s Round), Rochester, Ossining, Nashville, Durham, Yorkville, Lexington, and Indianapolis. DAWN RICHARD

DAWN (aka Dawn Richard) previously announced a date at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on Valentine’s Day (2/14) with openers Cakes da Killa and SadBoy, behind last year’s great new breed, and now she’s added a second show at the venue on 2/13, with no openers announced as of yet. These are DAWN’s only upcoming dates at the moment.

YELLE

French pop artist Yelle has been hard at work on a new album, and she’s just announced a pair of 2020 dates. These shows happen at NYC’s Brooklyn Steel on 10/10, and Paris’ La Cigale on 10/29. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday (1/17). You can watch her tour announcement video, where she teases a new album for 2020, as well, below.

DANIEL ROMANO

It’s been a while since Canadian songwriter Daniel Romano released three albums in one year, but he’s recently been active with his other project Ancient Shapes, which is currently touring Canada throughout January, behind their recent LP A Flower That Wouldn’t Bloom. Following this, Daniel’s got a brief US tour under his own name starting next month, beginning at Brooklyn’s The Sultan Room on 2/26, before other shows in Raleigh, Nashville, and Oxford. Wavves are commemorating 10 years of their King of the Beach album with a 10th-anniversary tour and reissue.

Ty Segall & The Freedom Band have just announced 2020 tour dates for the fall, in addition to several May dates.

STEELY DAN / STEVE WINWOOD

Steely Dan are hitting the road in 2020 with past tourmate Steve Winwood for the “Earth After Hours” tour.

FU MANCHU

Stoner rock vets Fu Manchu announced a 30th anniversary tour, including shows in NYC, Austin, Philly, Chicago, and lots more.

OKAY KAYA

Okay Kaya announced US tour dates, which includes three unique NYC dates, and two additional music video screening events.

CITIZEN / FURY / SNARLS / WICCA PHASE / ROSIE TUCKER

Citizen announced a massive spring tour, with support on East Coast/Midwest March dates from Fury and Snarls, and support on (mostly) West Coast/Southwest April dates from Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and Rosie Tucker.

LANKUM

Irish dark folk band Lankum announced Northeastern US dates behind last year’s The Livelong Day.

END IT / OUTSIDER

Baltimore hardcore crew End It (who feature members of Wolvesblood, Piece Keeper, and Malicious Code) are touring the East Coast with their Flatspot labelmates Outsider.

WESTERMAN

UK artist Westerman announced several July dates across the US, and released a new single, “Blue Comanche.”
