Chicago rapper Polo G has been stirring up a lot of buzz for his new album Die A Legend, which has gotten acclaim from Pitchfork, Stereogum, UPROXX, and more. It's not hard to see why; Polo G is a clearly skilled rapper and his new album is a lot of fun. He's got shows coming up, including stacked hometown festival Summer Smash this weekend with Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty, A Boogie, Juice WRLD, Gucci Mane, Blueface, City Girls, Cam'ron, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Maxo Kream, and many others. Electronic musician Jacques Greene and rapper Cadence Weapon have teamed up for a collaborative two-song single, and it's pretty cool stuff. Jacques Greene sticks to his usual production style, which is pretty far from what you'd call a "hip hop beat," yet Cadence Weapon raps over them with ease. Jacques Greene also has upcoming shows, including Brooklyn's National Sawdust on 10/23 and LA's Echo on 10/25.
