TOY are here, have a new video; Weekend opening tonight's Baby's All Right show (updated dates)

As mentioned in today’s What’s Going On post, UK shoegazers TOY are hitting Baby’s All Right tonight (5/5) for their first of two NYC shows on their current tour and a “special guest” band was promised. It was just revealed on Twitter that the special guest band is shoegazey NYC post-punks Weekend, who just played Glasslands last night (5/4). Also on the bill is The Vandelles, and Baby’s are “essentially” giving away margaritas for Cinco De Mayo. Advance tickets for tonight’s show are still available.

On Tuesday (5/6), TOY are at Mercury Lounge with Heaven, and tickets for that one are still available too. They also recently made a video for “As We Turn” (dir. Julian Hand) from 2013’s Join the Dots. You can watch that, with the updated list of tour dates, below…
