Trans-Pecos fest: 2017 lineup & tix (Wilco, Jenny Lewis & more)
Wilco, Jenny Lewis, Lee Ann Womack, Robert Ellis, and Hurray for the Riff Raff are among the artists announced in the initial lineup of the 2017 Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love which happens September 28 – October 1 at El Cosmico in Marfa, TX. (This festival is not to be confused with NYC venue Trans Pecos that took its name from the Texas region.) This boutique festival — perhaps the “Music + Love” part tipped you off — is now in its 12th edition and they describe it thusly: “Together we embark on a cosmic, weekend-long adventure of live music, camping, sandlot baseball, stars, workshops, art installations and community in the majesty of Marfa, Texas. Set your compass, adventure awaits.” Tickets and camping packages are on sale now.
