Trap Them announce new LP 'Crown Feral,' share "Hellionaires"
The great Boston/Seattle hardcore/grindcore outfit Trap Them are finally getting set to release their new album. Crown Feral, which hits on September 23 via Prosthetic, is the follow-up to 2014’s great Blissfucker.
They’ve shared the first track, which is called “Hellionaires” and rips. Trap Them are one of the more reliable bands of this stripe, and this song is yet another dynamite entry in their catalogue. After about 2-minutes of D-beat insanity, this one recontextualizes the hair-curling riff at its center in a furious straight-ahead 4/4 stomp context. It’s a fist-pumper of the highest order.
Trap Them have a run of European dates coming up. No word yet on US dates so we’ll just have to hope. European dates are listed, along with a stream of “Hellionaires,” below.
