The initial lineup for Boise, ID festival Treefort has been announced. Like in past years, the lineup includes hometown heroes Built to Spill, but this time it also includes Doug Martsch's pre-Built to Spill band Treepeople! It'll be Treepeople's first show since breaking up in 1994. No word yet on other shows, but this is awesome news for Doug Martsch fans.

The lineup also includes George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Andrew WK, Zola Jesus, Oddisee & Godd Compny, Twin Peaks, U.S. Girls, Titus Andronicus, and much more. Tickets are on sale.

Stream Treepeople's 1991 album Guilt, Regret, Embarrassment (home to their great grungy cover of David Bowie's "Andy Warhol"), as well as their cover of The Smiths' "Bigmouth Strikes Again," below.
