Trentemoller shares creepy "Sinus" video; North American tour starts next week

Trentemøller have shared the video for “Sinus,” the latest single from his 2016 album, Fixion. Directed by Julie Reindl & Bruno Noaro, the video explores the idea of “What you see is what you smell” with gorgeous, creepy visuals matching well with the discquieting instrumental. Say co-director Noaro:

The theme tells about the idea of standardizing and digitizing smell in order tosupport the busy visual cortex of our brain and adapt to the evolving screenlandscape were surrounded by. In the imagined scenario the human instinct of smell, as we know it now, would disappear. The effect of smelling is a triggered reaction by looking at pictures (color-smell synesthesia). This project responses to the will of attuning our bodies to the technosphere and with that it questions the effects is has on our humanity.
