Some good news and some very bad news in the world of Pelican. The good news is that the post-metal greats just entered the studio (Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio, to be exact) to record the long-awaited followup to Forever Becoming, but sadly, guitarist Trevor de Brauw‘s house was broken into and robbed while he was in the studio.
Trevor is now selling some records from his personal collection on Discogs to help with his insurance’s $1,000 deductible. That includes records by Pelican, Magrudergrind, OFF!, The Spits, Loma Prieta, Chelsea Wolfe, Morbid Angel, D.R.I., and more. Pick one up HERE to help Trevor out. Both he and Pelican tweeted:

Pelican have two upcoming shows, both of which are in LA this month. They play the Caleb Scofield celebration that Isis are reuniting for (as “Celestial”) on 10/13, and Zebulon LA with The Primals on 10/14.
