Trevor Powers ending Youth Lagoon after final tour, promises new projects

Last year, Trevor Powers’ Youth Lagoon project released its very good third album Savage Hills Ballroom, and now he revealed that he’s ending the project. “There is nothing left to say through Youth Lagoon,” he said in a statement, but does clarify that “this is far from the end of [his] undertakings.” It seems like a strange move, given Youth Lagoon is more or less a solo project, but we’re looking forward to what comes next either way.

He also announced a final tour, which only includes European dates and U.S. festivals Okeechobee and Treefort. All dates are listed, with his full statement, below…
