Truck America comes to Big Indian, NY in 2010 - lineup includes Mercury Rev, White Rabbits, Neil Halstead, more

Truck America, the first US version of the 13-years-running UK fest, will take place Friday, April 30th to Sunday, May 2nd at The Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY (map), a little less than three hours from NYC. Confirmed bands include White Rabbits, Hopewell, Tim Easton, The Sadies, Ida, The Joy Formidable, Neil Halstead, The Silent League, Cat Martino, Common Prayer, Oxygen Ponies, Brandon Patton, Atlantic/Pacific, Dusty & The Dreaming Spires, The Shoestring Band and headliner Mercury Rev. Tickets are on sale now online (and details on where to get tickets in person are below).

— 3 stages total (The Barn, The Roadhouse and The Main Stage in a large heated tent).
— In addition to the live music there will be workshops, film screenings, kids activities, jam sessions and a healthy dose of english camping.
— Three day, weekend pass is $120 which includes 3 free nights of camping.
— Day tickets include access to all activities and parking but not the campsite (Friday $40/ticket, Saturday $50/ticket, Sunday $40/ticket)
— Tickets are available online through Brown Paper Tickets, In person at both BEACON’S CLOSET Brooklyn locations and at the FULL MOON RESORT, Valley View Road, Big Indian, NY
— Gates open Midday Friday, April 30th.
— Weekend pass includes 3 nights FREE camping (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) @ Full Moon’s beautiful grounds.
— Not a happy camper? Full Moon Resort has a range of lovely rooms to rent.
— Car Parking FREE with ticket purchase.
— Don’t have a car? Trailways bus from NYC and Kingston (route 28) stops at Big Indian post office.
— A range of great value meal passes available – eat like a king all weekend!
— Several bars serving a wide range of beers, wines and liquors (21+, BYO not permitted)
— Children aged 12 and under are FREE when accompanied by a parent or guardian (not a sibling)
— Ages 12+ pay full price. ANYONE under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Truck festival in Oxfordshire, UK has run for the past 13 years on the principles of independence and ethically minded and cooperative production, with a passion for introducing cutting edge music as well as a reverential nod back to the classics.
