Trump supporters harassing Carnegie Hall over Kathy Griffin show
Kathy Griffin is currently on her “Laugh Your Head Off” Tour which will hit NYC at Radio City Music Hall on June 25 and Carnegie Hall on June 26. Tickets for the Radio City shows are still available.
If you don’t know, the tour’s name is a reference to the controversy she found herself in when she did a satirical photo shoot while holding a fake decapitated head that bore a some resemblance to our current president. Griffin backed off her initial apology and has continued to say a lot of stuff about Trump, and recently slammed First Lady Melania Trump for her “both sides” stance on the current family separation policy:

Unsurprisingly, Trump supporters are contacting venues hosting Griffin shows — like Carnegie Hall — demanding them to be canceled, which is what happened with her last tour.

Kathy supporters have also launched a campaign to counter the haters, and are also reaching out to venues like Carnegie Hall to let them know that they are happy about the booking (incidentally, the Carnegie Hall show is a Live Nation produced event, so Carnegie Hall themselves aren’t even fully involved in the decision).
