Tunde Adembimpe covers Looking Glass' "Brandy" & Trey Songz covers Bowie's "Life on Mars" on this week's ep. of 'Vinyl'

Another week, another round of covers from the Vinyl soundtrack. This week features TV On the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe covering the 70s pop classic “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl)” by Looking Glass and Trey Songz offering up a version of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars.”

As has generally been the case with these covers, they’re pretty faithful, although Trey’s version of the Bowie classic is a sparse piano ballad, and Trey’s flowery R&B delivery is actually a fun take on the song that highlights some of the melodies in a new way.
