Tune-Yards announces new album, shares "Look at Your Hands," adds 2018 dates
Tune-Yards recently announced a tour and posted an update from the studio, which led us to believe a new album was on the way. Today, that album has been announced. It’s called I Can Feel You Creep Into My Private Life, and it follows 2014’s Nikki Nack. As pictured above, Tune-Yards is now officially a duo — main member Merrill Garbus co-produced the album and co-wrote the lyrics with frequent collaborator Nate Brenner. (It was mixed by Mikaelin Bluespruce, who’s worked with Solange and Blood Orange.) The album comes out January 19 via 4AD and features the new single “Look At Your Hands,” which Merrill Garbus points out has “’80s throwback production.” Listen and check out the artwork and tracklist below.
Tune-Yards also announced a 2018 tour, including a NYC show happening March 9 at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (10/27) at noon. All dates are listed below.
