Turnip King releasing debut LP 'Laika' (stream it)

Turnip King will release their debut album, Laika, this Friday (9/9) via Fire Talk. The band has transformed a bit since forming a few years back in Sea Cliff, NY while the members were still in high school (most notably Nick Kivien left the group to form Sunflower Bean), but their car-crash dreampop sound remains in full force.
