After wrapping up a tour with Into It. Over It., The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die returned to NYC for a Northside show at Palisades on Friday (6/10) with Two Inch Astronaut, For Everest and Blue Crime. They were joking around a lot -- Derrick introduced the band as "The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am Nolodojdfhuh..." and told the crowd that Northside Festival is actually a fundraiser to raise money to legalize crime -- but their performances were dead serious. Even with TWIABP's many members squeezed onto Palisades' tiny stage, they appeared larger than life. Pictures of all four bands from that show are in this post.

The show turned out to be the last show at Palisades before it was shut down by cops later that night. It's still yet to re-open and upcoming shows are starting to move to other venues.

TWIABP will hit the road again in July opening for Hey Mercedes.
