TWIABP start tour with Hey Mercedes this week, including Bowery Ballroom
The Hey Mercedes reunion tour begins this week, and as mentioned, The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die are opening a handful of the dates. When we last spoke, they weren’t on any of the NYC shows, but it’s now been revealed that they’ll open at Bowery Ballroom (7/13). They aren’t billed for the Baby’s All Right (7/16) show happening a few days later though. Both are with Prawn. Tickets for Bowery and Baby’s are still available.
TWIABP were last in NYC during Northside Festival, when they played the last show at Palisades before it closed. All of their dates are listed, with a stream of this year’s Long Live Happy Birthday 7″, below.
It was initially announced that Hey Mercedes would reissue Everynight Fire Works and the accompanying The Weekend EP on July 8 via Topshelf, but that reissue now comes out August 12 via Run For Cover. All of their dates are listed below too.
