Chicago's Twin Peaks are back with their first album in three years, titled Lookout Low and out September 13 via Grand Jury. For it, the band worked with veteran producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, U2, Kings of Leon) and OHMME’s Macie Stewart and Sima Cunningham provide harmony vocals on most of the album. It's a different sound than you may remember Twin Peaks having, too: first single "Dance Through It" has an almost Steely Dan vibe. Watch the video below.

Twin Peaks will be on tour this fall with OHMME, including NYC's Webster Hall on December 6 (tickets), and they've added a lot more dates, including stops in Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville and Washington, DC. West Coast, Southwest and Midwest dates are with Post Animal and most East Coast shows (including NYC) are with Lala Lala.

Before that, they'll be in Brooklyn next week to play a show at Rough Trade on July 23. To attend, you'll need to pre-order Lookout Low from Rough Trade -- in addition to getting into the show, you'll get a 7" single the band will sign after the show.
