Twin Peaks releasing new single, touring (dates, song stream)

Chicago’s Twin Peaks have a new single, “In the Morning (In the Evening),” which will be released later this year. Recorded directly to 2″ tape, the song’s got a ’60s vibe somewhere between The Kinks and The Velvet Underground. It’s pretty infectious and you can stream or download it below.
The band, who are currently wreaking havoc in Europe, will be back in North America this spring, playing SXSW, NRML, Burgerama and other shows. Then in May they’ll be on a short tour leading up to Sasquatch that includes a NYC stop at Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 2.
