Twin Peaks released "Wanted You" video & live LP, expand tour
Twin Peaks — the band, not the show (that’s back like that gum you liked) — have released a video for “Wanted You” from last year’s Down in Heaven. The video combines drinking and lamenting over the theme of “I wanted you but you didn’t want me” with a variety of animal masks. Check it out below. The band also recently released a live album, Urbs in Horto, which you can stream below. The vinyl version will be released May 5.
Twin Peaks are also currently on tour with Hinds around Coachella, and have added some new tour dates after that. A few of those shows will be with Ron Gallo, including a NJ show at Asbury Park’s Stone Pony on June 7.Tickets for the Stone Pony show are on presale now and go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 14 at 10 AM.
Twin Peaks will be playing NYC at the 2017 A2IM Awards Show at Playstation Theater on June 8 with Nick Lowe, Ani DiFranco, Talbib Kweli, and Nick Hakim also on the bill. Tickets to the expensive, industry-oriented event (some options include dinner) are on sale now.
