Chicago venue Empty Bottle held their annual outdoor winter block party Music Frozen Dancing on Saturday (2/23) and this year was headlined by the combined forces of Ty Segall & White Fence. It wasn't quite cold enough for the day's precipitation to freeze so the crowd danced in a less fun wintry mix of rain but it didn't seem to bother anyone. Also on the bill was, appropriately, Quintron's Weather Warlock which features some custom electronics that manipulate sounds based on weather conditions, along with Lincoln, NE's Plack Blague and local groups Glyders and Negative Scanner. Pictures from the whole day are in the gallery above.

Ty Segall & White Fence, who have made two albums together (including last year's 'Joy'), are heading East with Axis:Sova and will be in Brooklyn for a sold-out show at Warsaw on Friday.
