Typesetter releasing an LP on Black Numbers, touring, playing Black Bear Bar (dates & new video)

Chicago punks Typesetter (not to be confused with Typefighter) signed to Black Numbers (home of Placeholder and Muscle & Bone, who played our show last night) and will release their debut album, Wild’s End, on the label this fall. We’ve got the premiere of the video for single “Lapsed Asshole” which is a gruff punk banger that fans of Hot Water Music should not sleep on. Check it out below.

Typesetter are also kicking off a tour this month which comes to NYC on August 13 at Black Bear Bar, the bar that used to be Public Assembly. Hopefully this show goes down better than the one they hosted during Northside.
