Dog Chocolate

London four-piece Dog Chocolate describe their sound as "pencil-case punk," whose main influence seems to be overwhelming angst and nervousness. The band's panic attack of a debut album, Snack Fans, is a hyper-literate thrash around the bedroom -- 14 songs in 26 minutes of catchy, shouty, uncomfortable-in-your-skin fun. We've got the premiere of "Plastic Canoe," a bit of environmental paranoia that notes "plastic itself is an incredible material / it mixes carbon and hydrogen like milk and cereal." Stream it, and album opener "Emotionally B.U.F.F," below.

Dog Chocolate's Snack Fans is out March 18 via Upset the Rhythm (the fine folks who put out last year's excellent Sauna Youth LP). Preorder yours. The band have some UK dates on the horizon and those are listed, along with the album art and tracklist, below.
