UK trio Happyness released debut album, ready new EP and first US shows during CMJ (dates, streams)

South London trio Happyness released Weird Little Birthday earlier this summer, a debut brimming with big hooks in small packages, owing a bit to ’90s slacker indie without aping it directly (though they clearly own a couple Pavement albums). It’s an impressive debut, and you can stream the whole thing below.

Keeping busy, Happyness are already set to release an EP, titled Anything I Do Is All Right. which will be out September 1. We’ve got the premiere of the chugging lead track “You Come to Kill Me?” and you can stream that below as well. And after that, the band will be making their first trip across the pond to play NYC’s CMJ Festival in October. No firm dates have been announced for Happyness yet, so stay tuned. Leading up to CMJ, the band have a short UK tour on the books and all dates are listed, along with the new song and album streams, below…
