US Girls, aka Meg Remy, has signed with 4AD who will release her new album later this year. With the signing announcement comes "Damn the Valley," US Girls' first track for the label, an excellent, dubby collaboration with producer Onakabazien that gets its inspiration and title from Sebastien Junger's War memoir. (It reminds me a little of an old 4AD act who also mixed electronics, dub and girl group elements: Colourbox.) You can check out the official video, which Remy shot in Washington DC, below.

You can catch US Girls live next month, and the short tour wraps up in NYC at Elvis Guesthouse on May 20. That show also features a DJ set from Meg's friend/collaborator Slim Twig and Kris DFA. Tickets are on sale. All dates are listed below...
