When we heard NYC's Highline Ballroom would be closing, the news was first confirmed to us by Thirsty Girl Productions, who said they'd be moving their Filthy Gorgeous Burlesque Valentines Spectacular to a new location. The new venue has now been announced: Brooklyn Bowl. The announcement reads:

Join Hostess Shelly the Singing Siren Watson and a bevy of burlesque beauties, Thursday February 14th at Brooklyn Bowl for the Filthy Gorgeous Burlesque Valentines Spectacular!

Featuring live music by soulful songstress, Storm Marrero, and steamy burlesque & circus performances by the Mastermind of Bizarre Extravaganza, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Jo Weldon, She's The Pot & The Kettle, Fem Appeal, the teddy bear with claws, Broody Valentino, Miss Coney Island 2019, Pearls Daily, the bendiest boy in burlesque, Topher Bousquet & Deity Delgado!

Highline Ballroom is closing in February, and they issued a statement saying they have plans for a final show TBA and that they're looking to move the venue to a new location in the Chelsea/Meatpacking District and "hope to be able to announce [their] plans soon."

Before Highline closes, they're hosting Voss Events Drag Brunches every Sunday, a M.E.A.T. party, a Vertical Horizon show, a Funk Flex party, a Neil Diamond tribute, and more. Shows booked for later in the year, including Wifisfuneral/Robb Bank$, Lil Tracy, and a SuicideGirls Blackheart Burlesque, will presumably need to move to new venues but no announcements on that yet. You can see Highline's schedule as it currently stands here.

UPDATE: Wifisfuneral moved to Sony Hall (tickets).
