Vampire Weekend, whose new album Father of the Bride will be out later this year, were busy yesterday on NYC's Upper West Side, filming what sounds like a very appetizing new music video with director Jonah Hill. They spent time in the morning at smoked fish specialists Barney Greengrass and, later in the day, made their way to Zabar's where they shot while the store stayed open --  many shoppers were oblivious that Ezra Koenig was behind the counter. “One lady got mad because the PAs were blocking access to ‘her dinner’ in one of the cases! "So Upper West Side,” a customer named Jackie told West Side Rag, who also say someone in the video's production said the concept was "a day on the Upper West Side." Did they go to the Natural History Museum too? The song in question may be titled "Sunflower" (that was the name of the production on the filming flyers posted), and you can watch a little instagram video of them shooting at Zabar's, and other instagrams and pics from there and Barney Greengrass, below.

The band will play Madison Square Garden on 9/6 as part of their 2019 tour, and tickets are on presale now and go on sale to the general public on Friday (2/8) at 10AM.

Meanwhile Jonah Hill was sporting some platinum blonde hair, which is apparently a trend:
