Villain moving to new Williamsburg location

Music venue and event space Villain has a new home. Details are scarce, but in addition to finding out that AdHoc will continue to assist with booking the large room, the venue announced the following:

We are pleased to announce that our new Williamsburg location opens this summer.
Our 50 North 3rd St location is now permanently closed. Since 2007, we’ve had some epic times in that space. We will be sharing some of our favorite moments from that space, as well as plans for the new space, shortly.

Recent and past events at Villain include a Place to Bury Strangers show, New Year’s Eve with DIIV, a Mitski show, Cloud Nothings and a Jeff Rosenstock show. Most of the public shows there recently were related to Market Hotel closing. They’ve also hosted Red Bull events, Northside Fest shows (including Pitchfork ones) and more
