Warpaint say they have a new album in the works for 2016, but in the meantime a couple of their members are focusing on solo projects. Theresa Wayman actually has a solo record and a new band BOSS, and Jenny Lee Lindberg went solo as jennylee. Her debut album right on! isn't out until December 11 via Rough Trade, but ahead of that she played a one-off at Brooklyn's Baby's All Right last night (11/4).
Only two singles were released ahead of the show, so we were hearing most of the music for the first time last night. It's not a million miles away from Warpaint, which of course isn't a bad thing at all. Young Magic opened, and among the audience members were Torres and Jenny Lewis. Pictures continue below...
