Ben Gibbard

watch Ben Gibbard cover Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees," play Postal Service & Death Cab classics solo acoustic

Due to the mass self-isolation and basically no concerts at all, Ben Gibbard is broadcasting a solo acoustic ‘Live From Home’ session everyday at 7 PM ET, and the first one was today. Ben covered Radiohead‘s “Fake Plastic Trees,” bookended his ten-song set with a couple Postal Service classics (“We Will Become Silhouettes” and “The District Sleeps Alone Tonight”), played a handful of Death Cab For Cutie songs (“A Lack of Color,” “Title Track,” “Crooked Teeth,” “Cath…,” more), and also did his Jay Farrar collab “California Zephyr.” He sounded great the whole time, and if you missed it live, you can watch an archive of the full thing now:

A Lack of Color (Death Cab for Cutie song)
