Beyonce Grammys

Beyonce gave an inspiring, extravagant Grammys performance (video, pics)

The 2017 Grammy Awards ceremony is underway and so far the best part was Beyonce‘s performance. She was introduced by her mother Tina, she began her performance flaunting the twins she’s expecting, and she went on to give a performance as inspiring and extravagant as you’d expect from the Queen Bey. She played “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles” off Lemonade, joined by several dancers. Jay Z and Blue Ivy were in the audience. Watch some clips and check out pics below.

So far Bey won Best Music Video for “Formation” (but lost Best Music Film to The Beatles: Eight Days a Week the Touring Years), and she won Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade. She lost Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance to Adele (who asked, “What the fuck does [Beyonce] have to do to win album of the year?”), lost Best Rap/Sung Performance to Drake, and lost Best Rock Performance to David Bowie.

While accepting her Best Urban Contemporary Album award, she gave a very touching speech, which you can watch below as well.

Beyonce’s sister Solange won Best R&B Performance for “Cranes In The Sky.”
