Julien Baker has covered a handful of veteran indie/emo artists, like Jawbreaker, Elliott Smith, and Death Cab For Cutie, and now one of the vets has done the opposite. Stereogum points out that Brand New covered Julien's song "Sprained Ankle," the title track off her excellent debut LP, at their show in El Paso last night. That's pretty damn awesome. Jesse Lacey played it solo, and it sounds great. Check it out below, along with the full setlist.
Brand New are currently playing The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me on their current tour, which has The Front Bottoms and Modern Baseball opening.
