One of the catchiest songs from Courtney Barnett's Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit, "Elevator Operator" now has a really great music video, made by Sunny Leunig whose father, Michael, is a renown cartoonist/poet. Both Leunigs appear in front of the camera, too, in this video that's custom built for cameos. Courtney plays an elevator operator whose various stops up and down (and perhaps out) reveal a variety of tenants, including Jeff Tweedy, Sleater-Kinney, Magda Szubanski of beloved Australian sitcom Kath & Kim, Aussie indie rock icon Paul Kelly, and loads of other bands and notable folks. It's a lot of fun and you can watch it (and check out the full cast list) below.
