DaBaby

watch DaBaby freestyle over Eminem & Dr. Dre's "Guilty Conscience"

DaBaby continues to be on a roll, with not one but two great new albums (March’s Baby On Baby and last week’s Kirk), and guest verses on some of the year’s biggest albums/singles, like Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, Chance the Rapper’s The Big Day, Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts,” and Lil Nas X’s “Panini.” (He’s also got a guest verse on a song by the year’s other rap rookie of the year, Megan Thee Stallion.) As much as he’s infiltrated pop radio (and pop songs), he’s still a rapper’s rapper, one who takes pride in his ability to freestyle. He turned his XXL Freshman freestyle into a song on Kirk, and yesterday he appeared on Sway In The Morning and freestyled over two classic beats, Eminem & Dr. Dre’s “Guilty Conscience,” and Juvenile’s “Set It Off.” “Guilty Conscience” comes in at 24:00 and “Set It Off” comes in at 26:15. Watch (via The FADER) below.

DaBaby was also just on Fallon, and he has a tour coming up, including Rolling Loud NYC at Citi Field in Queens, Power 105.1’s Powerhouse at Prudential Center in Newark, and a Westchester County Center show with Lil Baby in White Plains.
