Psychedelic post-rock greats Grails have announced an Eastern US tour for January 2019, which will be their first time on the East Coast since fall 2017. The tour includes Chicago’s Tomorrow Never Knows festival, as well as stops in Brooklyn, Philly, DC, Richmond, Chapel Hill, Atlanta, and more.

The Brooklyn show happens January 20 at Saint Vitus. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

Grails were also recently on Amoeba Records’ “What’s In My Bag?” series, and their choices were (not surprisingly) overall on the weird and obscure-ish side. One of Emil Amos’ picks was the soundtrack for ’80s cult TROMA flick Surf Nazis Must Die. “If you’re into the David Lynch-y stuff or Tangerine Dream or whatever and you wanna get into something a little bit more raw that was overlooked at the time, this is the perfect place to start.” Watch that video below.

Grails’ latest album is 2017’s Chalice Hymnal, which was their first album in six years. You can stream that below too.
