As mentioned, Italian psychedelic metal band Ufomammut are releasing their ninth album, Fenice, on May 6 via Neurot Recordings (pre-order). They recently put out the hypnotic lead single "Psychostasia," and here's second single "Pyramind." Like the previous single, it's heavy and sludgy and really leans into trippy psychedelia, resulting in something that the metalheads and the psych-rock kids can all agree on.

"To choose a single track from Fenice isn’t easy, because the songs are long and linked together, and the flow results are incomplete," the band tells us. "But we think that Pyramind represents in a very clear way Ufomammut two-souls attitude: the heaviness melted down with psychedelia." Indeed. Listen and watch the video below.
