On Friday, Light in the Attic Records presented a two-hour video special to raise money for the MusicCares COVID-19 Relief Fund"Light in the Attic & Friends LIve" featured both artists from the label and other musicians covering LITA artists, all recorded live in their respective homes. Among the highlights: Jarvis Cocker covering Lee Hazlewood's "Cold Hard Times," Devendra Banhart covering Haruomi Hosono's "Sports Man," Julie Byrne covering Nico/Jackson Browne's "These Days," Fred Armisen covering Big Boys' "Sound on Sound," My Morning Jacket's Jim James covering Johnnie Frierson's "Have You Been Good to Yourself," Ben Gibbard covering Kris Kristofferson's "Please Don't Tell Me How the Story Ends," Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys covering Lee Hazlewood's "Trouble is a Lonesome Town" (with his kids), and more.

As for the original artists, Barbara Lynn played her 1962 hit  "You'll Lose a Good Thing" and "Lynn's Blues," British folk great Michael Chapman played three songs (two recorded while stuck in the Bahamas and then "Caddo Lake" after finally making it back to his home), Brazilian music legend Marcos Valle performed two songs, The Free Design's Sandy Dedrick sang an acapella version of "I Love You" (from The Free Design's children's album), Japanese ambient artist Inoyama Land performed "Glass Chime, The Supreme Jubilees' Leonard Sanders performed "It'll All Be Over" and "Do You Believe," plus performances by singer-songwriter Lynn Castle, Italian ambient artist Gigi Masin, and more.
