Jimmy Eat World Best Coast

watch Jimmy Eat World & Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino cover Crooked Fingers

Jimmy Eat World did another livestream tonight, this time for Phoenix’s Stinkweeds Records in honor of what would have been Record Store Day weekend. It starts out with Jim Adkins solo acoustic playing Clarity classics “Just Watch the Fireworks” and “A Sunday” and newer Jimmy Eat World songs “Damage” and “Get Right,” and then Jim was joined (virtually) by the rest of the band, plus Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, for a great cover of “Call To Love” by Archers of Loaf frontman Eric Bachmann’s Crooked Fingers project. Check out the whole thing below.

Related: we recently revisited Jimmy Eat World’s 2002 cover of Guided by Voices’ “Game of Pricks.”
