The Intelligence's Lars Finberg has a new video for "Ambiverts," one of the standout cuts from his excellent 2017 solo debut, Moonlight Over Bakersfield. The video, which premieres in this post, was directed by Matt Ingebretson, one of the co-creators and stars of Comedy Central's pitch-black capitalism satire, Corporate, and it stars comedian and writer Bridger Winegar (The Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) who created the video concept with Ingebretson. What exactly is going on here is unclear, but Winegar a terrorist or assassin who is as prone to dancing as kidnapping or murder.

Lars told us Winegar contacted him out of the blue, asking if he and Matt could make a video from one of his songs. Lars said yes, sent them the album, and they chose "Ambiverts." "I was impressed they picked such a deranged tune and the video is even weirder, it made me laugh but is also beautiful," says Lars. "I'm still shocked these two kind strangers asked and made this lovely strange thing out of the blue." Watch the video, and stream Lars' album, below.

Lars and his band The Bakersfield Moonlighters will be hitting the road with Mike Donovan, of Sic Alps and Peacers. Their tour together is currently just a handful of shows in California and Arizona but let's hope Lars (and Mike) makes his way East sooner than later. All dates are listed below.

Mike, meanwhile, has a new album, titled How to Get Your Record Played In Shops, which will be out April 20 via Drag City. You can listen to "Sadfinger" from it below.
